shanYE west
Since i am such a dumb ass and got the motor size wrong , does this little bit bigger motor warrant a stronger second gear? Still not a needed item..
locogato11283
not needed, but if it makes you feel better knowing its in there, just do it. its not that much money is it? what $300? if its apart now is the time.

lowriderb
take it for what its worth, i would do it now before its broke and possibly ruining the rest of the trans. or roll the dice and hope for the best. i put one in my 10mm and am now putting a billet output shaft on there as well as having a 1-6 trans. for asphalt. im only doing the output shaft because im expecting about 200hp out of my 10mm and dont want to take any chances.. firebanshee
not any more, a turbo this time.. That sounds like it would be alot of fun, how much boost?
lowriderb
off topic but, im going to start at 20psi and work my way up from there.. going from the other two bikes ive seen in the same motor size range 24psi should hit 200 range, after that is just extra for me though the turbo should be good on up to about 32psi according to garret. this is going to be on my motor later on putting the nitrous back on it. the other motor is still waiting for the custom pipe to be built for it and the turbo to be shipped from garret. it will be a 20mm dmx and we are expecting a lot more power out of it and will take a billet trans. J-Madd
I'm sure you have the timeloc clutch for that and a big ass chain - that's gonna try to rip the motor out of the frame! Good luck with the build.
lowriderb
just a mattoon lock up clutch system and a 520 hd chain.. the 530's will be considered if i break one when i get the little motor on the dyno. with the 20 my friend is building it will be a 530 for sure. AlkyGirl
I'm with Shayne, i've owned a 535 built by Dan hull and he will tell you 140 on a dyno thats not just giving numbers it aint going to hit 140 without a power adder. He told me and most of the other top builders 125-130 and thats on the back tires in tune with everything setup to perfection. If you have the $$ worth buying if not i wouldn't worry it should hold. And a 535 is a good strong motor i hope i dont regret selling mine. I had a guy tell me he was making 129hp on a 7mil Cheetah....baaahhhhaaaaaaahhaaaa
