Straight cut does nothing for your shifting. It takes the side load off your crank bearing.

The difference between a duneable and non is the duneable can take backloading it. Meaning you can let off the gas and let the clutch slow it down. It isn't something you want to do evertime you want to slow down, but it will holdup alot better than the non dunables. Also the non duneables you need to be pretty much stopped to down shift, the duneable you do not. You can pull the clutch and down shift just like normal.

I would look into the 1-5 neut down. Your really never going to need 6th gear in drag racing unless you plan on doing LOOONG runs.

For Drag Racing, X5 on the 1-5 N down dunable.

No override, dunable included...should be excessively backloaded.

The only tranny on the market that claims to be able to handle all the abuse is the "Extreme Transmission" from WCR....and as I've said before, they're relatively new to the market and I like to see something in action for a while before I say yeah or ney on it (for me personally, that's all)

There are a few tricks that help it shift a little better...but once you get to a certain point, override is the way to go.

Since you said drag bike, there is no use talking about another way to cut the tranny.

You're losing time with any tranny other than an override.

You need to plan on a lockup as well...so figure that into your pricing.

If your bike is making enough power to give you shifting fits, adding an override will only show the weakness of the clutch sooner or later.

Thanks Dave, yea I already have a DD lockout and FAST clutch kit. So far it pulls hard just can't get it to shift into 3rd under load. Have to let out completely. Which ain't even worth me taking to the track unless I get that sorted. How much will one run me? N down 1-5th duneable?
