Finally upgrading suspension ( I hope)

So I have Fullflight +3 +1 A-arms coming this week, I"ve heard positives and negatives about these. I only ride the dunes so hopefully they will hold up. I have 07 TRX 450R shocks I'm gonna try to rig up, if they don't work I'll put the stockers on. I have a feeling they will sag a lot though. The TRX shocks are 2 inches longer but they may workout if the stocks do sag. Any ideas? And I'll put my 2 cents in about the Fullflights after I put some time in on them.

Have fun with the Hemi joints and sand!!! I would look at converting them into ball joints ASAP. I wouldnt even come close to putting stockers on +3 arms and try riding in the sand. The stockers are already shitty shocks and have a hard time keeping up with the stock arms. So adding +3 to the mix will quickly over heat the shocks causing fade. Stay away from jumps unless you weight is around 125lbs. But best of luck with the set up!:flush:

Hiem joints won't last in sand huh? Great. I''ve never had anything but stock suspension on all my bikes so this is new to me. I'm trying to get some YFZ shocks but money...well...sucks right now. Is there a way to make the hiems last or am I SOL ?

They will be ok. The honda shocks aren't going to work though. The full flights are still made for a stock length shock even though they are +3. You may be able to some how stuff the honda shocks in there, but at full droop your hiems will be stressed due the fact your shocks are way to long. Instead of the shocks being the limiting factor in travel, your hiems will be. Make sense? Sell the honda shocks and buy yfz shocks.

I have Hiem joints on mine and ride in the sand all the time with no problems... I've never heard of sand wearing them out before. If anything I have heard that ball joints are better for wet and muddy conditions. The Honda shocks probably wont work and stock Banshee definitely wont. Some stock YFZ 450 shocks would be ok but your best bet would be to get some aftermarket shocks set up for your weight with those a-arms. If money is an issue sell the Honda shocks and get some yfz's like Bbc said.
