A-arm and bushings

so, i thought my a-arm bushing were bad because i could move the arm up and down at the pivot point with the bolts installed and all. ordered new bushing and went to put them on and realized my old ones are not worn out. quick measurement with the mic and the inside of the bushing shows about 15mm. the bolt is 10mm roughly. i just figured the inside of the bushing would or should be the same size or only slightly bigger than the arm bolts. the measurements may be a little off cuz i measured them earlier today, but general idea is the bolt being smaller than the bushing by quit a bit.

anyone know the purpose or reason for this?

that would explain it. i knew something didnt add up. guess i could have looked in my clymers to figure that out, but just didnt think about it. that is how i bought the bike and i'm sure they just tossed it when they put the new arms on it. really amazes me how some people do shit.

anyways, thanks for straightening that out for me.
