dirtydownunder
you can beat yfz450's with bolt ons like what your getting and a cool head with smaller domes (say 21cc @sea level with +4timing and 94oct) but to smoke them, you will need porting. as gnr said, contact some porting sponsors to see how far you want to go. Sounds like your on the right track, now just add a coolhead w/domes, maybe some gearing changes. Then its Porting time to go way F.A.S.T. !! GrMeyer
Like said above...Your on the right track. Just add a head with change able domes. Keep the air lid off and make sure that bad boy is jetted right. You shouldnt have a prob of putting him in the dust.

With just the t-5's you probably beat him but instead of the $200 for reeds you should have got it ported for $350 at fast and would be no contest. The timing plate is also a great idea. bbcmudtruck
Get you some good tires for the terrain that you ride on. The stuff you ordered will be a great start. Don't forget to jet your carbs when you put on the pipes and filter.

sixsicsix19
also i have a k and n filter that came with it when i bought it...should i keep running this filter or get me a uni-filter?? toomey said i need to drill holes in the airbox and others have told me to take the lid off??? What do yall think i should do?
GrMeyer
Mount the filter in the box. So keep the K&N and take the lid off. Jet the bike and it will be a new ball game. The banshee loves to breath. So keepn the lid on will b e the weak point. With the lid off. Ur jetting wold me around 300 mains needle in the middle and 27.5 pilots. With the lid. I should be around 270 with some holes in the lid. Needle in the mid and still 27.5 pilots. Put the timing at +4. If u plan on putting the timing plate on u will need a flywheel puller. This set up should get u in line for one quick bike. Also u will need to learn how to sync the carbs or ur bottom end will suck!
