terr1bleone
What do you guys think is the best hooking 22'' tire for hardpack and some stone/dirt roads? Im having problems hooking up when launching, I just spin every gear unless im running a larger (12-14) paddle tire which gets torn up fast. I usually run 20's, stock 450 honda or yamaha tires. Ive had okay luck with 22'' mudlights. I tried an old set of atc bubble tires that measured out to 23'' I had laying around that didn't hook.. but really helped my gearing. terr1bleone
realators and vampires are too small, they only measure out to 19.5. I heard pro wedges were only good till about 60hp.. I have a little over 90.

QuadBart
realators and vampires are too small, they only measure out to 19.5. I heard pro wedges were only good till about 60hp.. I have a little over 90. I run a raptor with a little over 200 HP and I use a 26inch realtor in dirt. BUT like was mentioned before. I m not sure that size is still available. I see your from the Chi-town area, I'm just north of you. You ever drive across the Wisc boarder and go to the MonkeyButt ATV races? You ever think about putting some Carbide picks in a set of tires and heading up To the Fox lake area to rides the lakes? Its legal you know. Believe it or not , you can make that thing Hook on the ice!! QB
terr1bleone
I was talking about the popular size 22x12x10. Ive thought about bigger realtor's or vamp's but I think 25'' is the lowest like you said you run 26''. Im not sure i have enough torque to pull that big of a tire. Im more looking for the 22-23'' range when inflated to a couple psi. I haven't been to any races yet still gettin the bike sorted out. Ive ridden lakes in the past, It hasnt been too cold this year though didn't think that was going on. Weve been riding the ice for over a month now but theres only a few more weeks left before it starts getting dicey again.
