Lasher-19
1999 Yamaha Banshee - $2500 FIRM Only Adult Owner! Blue plastic. Fenders are not trimmed in good shape. Some of the decals have come off from washing. Items changed from stock: Paul Turner Mid Range Chrome pipes and Fat Boy cans. (Have stock exhaust) Pro Design air filter adapter for K&N (with spare). Allows a positive seal to air box. Air box and lid intact Steel Braided front brake lines (black) Maxxis Razor tires (good shape) in stock size on stock rims. (Have stock rear tires un-mounted) DG alloy nerf bars with blue netting. (Have stock heal guards) Aftermarket handlebars. (not sure which brand, they were spares in my garage years ago) MSR EZ pull clutch lever. The lights have been removed, but I still have them as well. I also had a steering damper (stick kind) mounted at one time, and I should have it laying around as well. Other than jetting, the motor has never been touched. Runs great so I never needed to take it apart. The swingarm bearings were just replaced and one a-arm bushing. (nothing broken, just worn) For pics http://www.lashermxracing.com/banshee/index.html email lashermichael@sbcglobal.net Edited February 6, 2010 by Lasher-

Lasher-19
im pretty positive the subframe is. idk about the frame itself though. cant really tell. I have been the only owner of the quad, so I know (first hand) every time it has crashed. The rear grab is tweaked and looks bad in the pic. But other than just the grab bar, the sub frame in the very back (where the grab bar attaches) got pushed a small amount when I cased a double. I heated that section and moved the subframe back to level (talking a small amount it needed to move). But never bothered to straighten the grab bar. But the frame is straight. On the double...I attempted to double a smaller (20 ft) jump on the last lap of the race. I chickened out, the front end hit the face, over me and the quad went. On the flip over, the grab hit the ground causing it to bend. Just like the front bumper, I was riding in the local pits (just cruising around) when a kid on a little dirt bike came flying around the corner. I was able to stop, he did not. So that dent in the front bumper was from his wheel. I was at a dead stop when he hit. Maybe I should take better pics, but this quad has not been beat on. I am 38 and owned it since new. Maybe 10 hours (max) a year has been put on it since 2001? I just took it out in the yard last weekend, runs / handles great...for a Banshee. Lasher-19
This is not some quad that got passed around, owner to owner. Not only have I been the only owner, I have been present every time it has been ridden in the yard or the track. (Wife, son, friend etc) I have done all the maintaince, have all the stock parts. Heck I could tell you which bolts have been removed or when they were last checked for torqued. I tear down my race quads (250Rs) after each season, I replaced what needed to be before putting it for sale. A good friend of mine told me I was nuts to replace the upper a-arm bushings that were worn or the swing arm bearings. But I could not sell a quad that is not what I say it is. And this Banshee is a good used quad, according to me. And from what I heard, some sellers consider "good" to be pretty crappy from what was wrong with them. trick97gagt
This gentleman just did me a huge favor on another forum and he has no idea who I am. Seems like a very honest and straightforward guy to deal with. Hopefully this will sell soon for you. Free bump.
