TexasBansheeMan Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Ok I came across this in an email, and I think I can do it!! I have done lots of research and here is what i have found. 8 of these exist in DMV records all by the same guy in San Diego. He said it took 50k to build it from scratch, I think I can do it way under that using a Banshee.... Or a KTM with 4WIDS. So the first question is Straight axle or Full independent suspension. This guy also used Kawasaki 750 motors and have dyno speed tested at 160mph!!! Si this is going to be my idea thread, and a build thread will follow once all ideas have been hashed out, NOW ON TO THE PORN umm I mean pics: Not many pics of these cars, but you get the idea. What cha think? Quote
TexasBansheeMan Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 So what do you think solid axle or IRS? Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 seen these before there pretty sick. I'd go with the solid rear axle and a harley davidson motor or something along those lines. S&S, Dyna, Screamin eagle Quote

For power im looking at a 07 gsxr 750 motor. Gona be a fun little car. Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 yeah id like the rubber mounted hd motor just for the sound. If i were to put a street bike motor id go back a few years all the new motors are all hp no torque. Get an older gsxr that revs out at like 11,000 and i think it would perform better. Quote
J.J. Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Those are awesome! Can't wait for the build thread! Quote
