Im suppose to be running a guy this weekend but both times we tried to get the race going he broke his chain. We are running 1/8 mile on the road? Any predictions on the outcome???

My setup

4mil 12port passion stock cyl.

noss head 19cc, boss intake, 35mm pwks

cpi inframes +7 timing

16-41 gearing with 20" street tires

Hear is what i know about his setup

4mil with some type of mono block with hemi head

RDZ pipes, bigger carbs,

Hes running 19-36 or 37 not sure about the rear and running 18" street tires.

Im thinking he must have a hell of alot of power to turn that kind of gearing. I saw him practicing and it didnt impress me a whole lot but i know hes going to be hauling ass on top. I was not able to count the rear teeth but he said it was 36-37 but his damn front sprocket was big as a damn frisbee. He had to cut part of the case to run it. Hope im able to video it!!!!

depending on what the other bike is running you may have a shot, i like running the 20in rear wheels to help take the stress off of the trans instead of running the biggest sprokets known to man.. if its something like a big cheetah or minitwister he may be making quite a bit more power than yours with that being said, i would think that if they were both stock weight bikes with him running more power and rider weights being around the same. it would come down to who could get the better hole shot. then just hope you have enough to keep it to the end.

Well we finally got a chance to run them and he came clean with what all he had done to his bike. He got me by a Bike length in the 1/8 mile.

Its a 421 cheetah cub, coolhead, 35pwks, override tranny with cut gears, boss intake with 19 tooth up front and thirty something in the rear and 4 inch swingarm. He did change to a 16 inch american racer tire in the back which helped his gearing.

My setup is a 12 port passion 4 mil, 35pwks, boss intake, stock tranny with a 17-41 gearing and 20" duro scorchers and stock swingarm. If i would have kept the 16 up front i think it would have been closer. I know i have alot left with just setup but i think its damn good for a trail bike.

I AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE OUTCOME AND WILL HAVE VIDEO UP SOON!!!!!

Jim sure can make them run cant he?

Yes i was very pleased. We might try running again soon but im going to get some better tire than those duro scorchers that i was running and gear it down a little. I still was in 5th when we crossed the line and was actually pulling back on him.

He wasnt to pleased considering this is my trail bike and all i did to run him was strut the front and change tires and his is all out drag bike
