wvbansheeboy Posted January 23, 2010 Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 i have a 1992 shee that i have been goin thru with a fine tooth comb.. anyways i jus tried to change the front bearings and couldnt get the hub off is there a special trick or somthin took the spindle nut off even tapped on the back of it with a punch.. wouldnt budge . sprayed pb blaster all over it.. tapped the hub and the darn thing wont move.. and i got pivot works bearings are they any good? thanks guys any help appereated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Failing that you could try using a 2 or 3 jaw puller to take it off, or even a little bit of heat from a torch although it will probably make a mess out of the oil seals. What I did was get a buddy to pull on the hub as hard as he can and I used a wooden block and a little sledge hammer and just tapped on the end of the spindle while he was pulling.
