chvyguy69
Hey all, I'm new on here and would like to know if pro circut ever did or does make engine cases? I just picked up a 97 shee and it supposedly has a 4 mill stroker with stock bore etc. It has kiehin flat slides, pro circut pipes and silencers, K&N filter, white bros boost bottle etc. I am gonna change some of these parts and plastics etc. I noticed on the little flat spot of the case where the cover meets the case on the left side (shifter side) it has pro circut and a serial number stamped into it. Just wondering if they made these or did pro circut offer engine packages or whats up with it ??? Any help or comments are welcome. If need be i can snap a pic and post it tomorrow. camatv
pro circuit does/ did full engine builds including porting, and custom heads. that engine would be a very interesting tear down if its a full PC build.. they are more known in the dirtbike world for the motor mods.. and even that is kinda unknown.. So Cal Suspension
See now i have been tryin to look up info and i see they do case matching etc. Not sure cuz PC is not spelled right on the stamping.... so who knows!!!! You beat me to it. Pro Circuit is spelled wrong on the case. I'd wager that it at one time was a stolen bike/motor and someone knew pro circuit made cases and stamped that on there, but misspelled it? DOH! You could probably call pro circuit and see if they could look up that number...
chvyguy69
That had crossed my mind too.... the frame is clean. No problems there so hope the motor is too.
Mjv420
lmao, I really doubt PC scribed such a shitty sig. and then spelt it wrong to boot.
robert0762
That definetly looks like some bullshit attempt to get rid of the original numbers.
LiftdT4R
someone knew pro circuit made cases and stamped that on there, but misspelled it? DOH! Pro Circuit never made cases. That definetly looks like some bullshit attempt to get rid of the original numbers. I would be willing to bet that's what happened. Someone scratched the original engine serial, and added their own. jbooker82
Yea I am sure PC wouldnt sand off an original number to stamp it like that. If they did stamp it I am sure they would have one big stamp that would do their whole "globe" logo with one wack of a 3 lb. hammer.
