Craig Walker
anyone have an idea i've continued on with this bike having the steering stem lengthened several inches over factory thinking +8. the radiator i lowered inside the frame praying that i'll have enough room for pipes. now i'm running into a new unexpected issue Hardware, when the frame was made the aluminum brackets are 2 time thicker than factory and now i can't find anything chrome or stainless main killer is the upper a arm bolts, and the swing arm bolt. http://s806.photobucket.com/home/walkerlol/index Edited August 31, 2010 by Craig Walker

Craig Walker
This is built pretty good now there have been cracks that had to be redone but the builder whomever it was ground the welds smooth so that is why they cracked. NOS_350x
There are some 250r frames that look just like that, I think it was LRD that made them. but im not positive.
patrickkomar
Watch that sob for cracks often. I have a friend who had a all aluminum sand rail and once it started we just kept chasin um. The problem with welding aluminum is you drastically change the properties of the parent metal around the weld. the welds will hold but the pipe around it wont, hence chasing cracks, fix one another will start. I'm not saying this wont work just watch your a$$ man!
