nitrious cub Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 hi i have a 421 cub and blew it up a couple years ago and it has a pretty bad chip in it where can i get a good deal on a nikel seal? is 300$ to much? when i get it done do also have to get the pistons at the same time? You are somewhat better off sending them a piston with the cyl so they bore it perfect for you to match the clearance with that exact piston. Pistons can vary slightly. I think its about 250 to 300. rubberneck Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 Jeff My cub that i blew up doesnt appear to have dinged the nikasil, but there is some aluminum piston chunks melted to the cylinder. what can i use to get it off?
