jrod
Been wanting to get another Banshee for awhile, and one may have crossed my path that i want. Its exatley what i have been looking for, due to have the 2003 Yellow and Black flame plastics. Anyway, Only issue is it wont kick start. What would some of the reasons for this? They say it will pull start and run. Any help will be appreciated.
Burt Reynolds
Well how many reasons do you want. Weak spark/low compression/dirty carbs/wrong pilots/dirty air filter ect ect ect I would take a compression tester, low compression is the biggest one. I would test the psi,and if its under 115 or the cylinders are more than 10 psi off from eachother,i would walk away or get some cash knocked off the price for a rebuild
FASTOYS
Yep , its prolly worn out and needs a bore job.
BigRed350x
Bring a compression tester and check the compression. Also, ground a spark plug and kick it over and check for spark. If its got good spark and compression and still wont start its probably a jetting issue. If no spark I would either walk away or get some $ taken off the price. Electrical issues can get expensive to chase down. If its low on compression, but kicks over smooth, I'd just get some $ off the price as long as its low on bores. In that case as FAST said its probably just a bore/hone/new top end. Check Spark Check Compression Go through the whole bike, checking the subframe and A-pillar for signs of rollover. Post pics of the bike and what you find with the spark and compression and we can help you out from there.

It Wont Kick Start due to there being a issue with the kicker not grabbing. Or atleast that is how i understand it to be.
