DRAG J arms for duning?

It would not be too smart to dune them. I am sure they could handle a laittle abuse, but they are not designed to have the hell beat out of them. I would get a set that are built to dune. Contact Stellar Performance and get a set built.

I also just got 2+1 j-arms and need to know what shocks are best to use? Elka seem expensive, are there other shocks to go to the dunes? Ride alot, drag a little. Thanks.

That only with YFZ Arms Greg. The YFZ Shocks are an inch longer than the Banshee Shocks. They will do one of two things, either lift your bike up quite a bit, or apply a bunch of pressure to the balljoints, trying to pull them apart. I never recommend running yfz shocks on a banshee unless the arms were built for them.

As far as the drag arms for duning goes. You really need to ask the builer and be sure to tell him what your idea of "duning" is. Some guys consider duning as cruising through the sand, going from one bowl to the next, others consider it as jumping over every crest, and riding quite hard. I havent seen too many sets of +2+1 Drag arms though. Are you sure they are not some recreational arms?

My j arms are from RDZ racing and they're 2+1 chromoly with heim joints. From what I read it looks like Elka would be the best bet. What are your thoughts?
