wacko2000
What's up guys I have been working out some bugs with my bike, basically jetting and electrical On top of that, the bike just doesn't wanna shift. I even had a tranny cut/modified by HJR and that didn't help either. Everything is new and adjusted properly When we open the motor up, the dogs and shifting forks where in real bad shape with gouges taken out of them. I would like to go with a override but don't know which direction to take, there are many different overrides What else would be recommended to do while doing a override, i have new clutch and billet basket. I do trail riding, hill climbs, some friendly racing and may hit the dunes once a year. So do i want N down or stock? do i want 5 or 6 gears? etc Please any help or suggestion are appreciated. thanks PS Sleeper06 has done a lot of work on my shee, he has been the one splitting the cases and casing electrical problems and trying to fix the stupid shifting problem. Hopefully he will chime in here as well.

wizeass2005
Neutral down is the way to go. so you don't have any more of those accidental neutral hits while trying to drag, or climb a hill and loose all your momentum. and how often would you say you use 6th gear? I would say 1-5 neutral down
No Limit Powersports
I wouldn't recommend a neutral down if ur doing any trail riding. Think about it now when banging the trails to get to a lower gear you always just shift down. I don't know about you but I don't keep track of what gear I'm in just more natural than that. With a neutral down u would have to go all the way down then up 1. Also do a search on extreme duneable sounds like what you are looking for we have them in stock. locogato11283
I agree with Andy. I would stay away from the neutral down unless you're only drag racing. I have a 2-4 duneable and it's more than enough for what I do. I would check with Andy about a 2-5 possibly.

I do alot of trail riding and hill climbing, I dont think about it, but i always seem to kno what gear I am in. I do agree with you though, i dont wanna hit N all the time before finding 1st, i will get tired of that fast. Seems like the extremes are the shit huh? Wacko, might get with Sleeper06 as he as already called me and discussed your situtation and we have you covered. Jeff, Carl and I have spoke many times about my POS tranny, Im just looking to hear from other guys on the board I will be ordering in the next 2-3weeks, I just want to make sure i dont miss anything and have some knowledge on these overrides. thanks

RagunCajun
I love my n down duneable override. The n down is a blessing by itself. How hard is it to go all the way down then one up to ht first. Come on now! IMO, the only reason not to get the Above is if you NEED 6th. With 15/41, my bike does awesome in a drag race. Tops out around 70. Throw on some pro wedges and it's clocking 80ish I think but he race is over by then usually.
