DallasGDub
In the trails I like a 20 or 21 up front. (Depending on the back.) When I got 18's on the back, I run 20's. When I got 20's in the back, I run 21's. The read squats somewhat and that is a good thing. Clearance issues will really be determained by the area you ride. I know XC guys who run 22's+ in the desert. The tire to use should be judged on the type of riding.

DallasGDub
I meant to say the type of terrain you ride. If your trails require more clearance, then go with 20/21. (stuff like stumps, rocks, logs, trenches, ext... you will need that exrta clearance). I really only see MX guys run 18/20 or 18/15.
Ieat4strokes
here is a pic of my old blue banshee with 18X11X10 fast trekkers on itp pro9 series. a smaller dia tire will accelerate faster and is less rotating mass when airborne. i wouldnt run anything smaller than a 20" unless you race motorcross. you will be dragging the back end around over terrain. if you do go with the 18" i would also stick with a 8" dia wheel. Now that is just plain sexxy!
MikeNick
Dude if your only trail riding get 20's. 18's suck on trails.. I constantly found myself getting my chain guard hooked on tree stumps or getting the rear stuck up on a rut like going up a hill. 18's blow riding everywhere except a track or a 100% flat and smooth ground. You will get annoyed with them.I've almost gotten throwed off my banshee when I had 18's..Was coming out of a turn on a trail and nailed it well it went down into a little dip and it was all tracked up and whatnot where people spun out....I cam to a complete hault when my skid got caught on the middle of the path on the dirt and yeah, I almost took a trip from all that momentum suddenly stopping.. feelsoright03
Hey just letting u know the blaster and banshee hubs are the same splines. U can put ur blaster tires on ur banshee just as long as u switch the tire and whole hub assembly. Its also 1 bolt and a cotter key compared to taking 4 bolts off. Make sure u pull the hub straight off also or else ur gonna have problems pulling it off. ~Teddy~
Wheelie Ripper
I had 18's on my shee and like everyone is saying, my skid plate was getting hung up on everything. No fun doing a hill climb and all of a sudden the skid plate starts skiing and lifts the rear wheels right off the ground. For MX or smooth surfaces they are fine, but anything else they become a pain and will get you stuck everywhere.
