Mark M
ok so i recently had a 2006 blasty and ordered 18x10x8 razr's on itp 8" .190's in the rear and 20x7x10(i think) on itp 10" .190's. now i just bought the banshee yesterday and was wondering how theyd look on the banshee? (yes i know i have to get a different bolt pattern, but they'll exchange them for me) -do people run 18's in the rear on a banshee? -will they be too small looking? -should i maybe swap them out for a bigger size? -I like that small tire extended racey look in the rear and front. fyi: i do mostly riding around my neighborhood trails and occasional street drag race or sandy gavel pits. any pics would be great of shee's with these small of tires on it. Thanks!

crustydemon
I run 18's on one of my bikes, I like them. They of course do look small because they are but I like that to, kind of more of a MX look.
Mark M
great, does anyone have pics of their Shee with 18's? also i prolly should get a skid plate asap if i run these then huh?
cousinsracing
i wouldnt go with 18's if you ride trails....my bike was set up for mx and has 18x11x10 holeshots on it with a swinger skid plate and I am constantly bottoming out on the trails...i plan on getting a set of 20's very soon
Hilarious
great, does anyone have pics of their Shee with 18's? also i prolly should get a skid plate asap if i run these then huh? here is a pic of my old blue banshee with 18X11X10 fast trekkers on itp pro9 series. a smaller dia tire will accelerate faster and is less rotating mass when airborne. i wouldnt run anything smaller than a 20" unless you race motorcross. you will be dragging the back end around over terrain. if you do go with the 18" i would also stick with a 8" dia wheel. A skid plate will make it even lower unless you go with the a chain guard type. Really depends on the area you ride in. Some places I can use 18's, but most normal trails I am runnin the 20's. Mark M
The bike is lowered. that one doesnt look to bad, im just worried now about getting into trails without hitting my sprocket or frame with a skid plate or even without one. I like being able to fly over shit without worrying. i think im going to keep my 9" rear OEM rims so maybe ill return the 18"s and get them in a 20". i couldnt seem to find them in a 19" im assuming they dont sell that size then right? DallasGDub
I run 20x11x8, and 18x10.5x8 20x11x8 is on a very short list of tires you can find. I think the 9" rim is the most common size and you can find all kinds of tires. I have not seen 19" tires.
