pipewelder
I need to replace a clutch for a buddy, its mostly stock so what brand should i go with.
bbcmudtruck
I would go with a FAST clutch with new inner and outer hubs. The hubs are cheap, might as well replace them. The clutch is a little more expensive than most, but theres a reason for that. If you wanted to setup him up with everything he needs, get him a billet basket to go with it, FAST has those too. 1-785-364-5325

AKheathen
well, what kind of maintenance and abuse does he give the bike? how stock is it and is he keeping it that way. i would just inspect the hub and basket before just throwing a new one at it. also, if he is worried about price, but still wants a good one, tusk clutches hold up pretty good, too. i also have a fast clutch and will not hesitate to recomend it either.... X2 on the Tusk Clutch, theyre cheap and Ive run one for 3 years now no issues. I also wouldn't replace either of the hubs unless they look very worn. I'm still on my stock set and my bike's an 01. Bansh-eman
Most of the clutches that sho are putting together are nothing more than FZR1000 plates. They just get them all packaged up so you don't have to do the shopping around to get them. Another option is the Raptor 660 clutch. Personally I am a fan of the FZR clutch.
