cousinsracing
My bike has a set of holeshots on it...just the regular ones no xc or anything. i do a lot of trail riding and we went on a long one today...the trails were pretty muddy and i could not hook up AT ALL i could barely make it up the hillclimbs with all thetire spin and almost caused me to flip the bike as i slid backwards down a hill. Now in the tires defense they are kinda worn probably 60% tread and i have a 400cc t-rex pv motor so its not easy to hook up with anything, but i was wondering if you guys could make some suggestions as to which tires would help me hook up a little better...not looking to spend a ton so razr gncc's are not an option

locogato11283
i would seriously consider switching to a 9" rim. there are far more tire options for a 9" rim.

locogato11283
someone on HQ prolly has some factory 9" rims they would sell you. try NYUK on here. he always has factory shit for sale. i hate to see you buy tires for 10" rims when in the long run youd be much better off with 9" rims. FrankieSquid
I think the Maxxis RAZR tire have sizes for a 10' rim. I run the Maxxis RAZR 6 ply and is the best trail tire i have run by far. The Hole shots are a bit soft and wear quicker than the maxxis. You should hit up alf on this one. he has great prices. If its a trail bike stick to the 9' rim for more tire options. The ones on FAST website are good trail tires. The lugs on those tires look aggressive, plus the tires are hella cheap. Im going to order those for my YFZ soon.
