Michael Jackson
you make a very good point, he seems to be a totally different kimbo slice than the one from youtube years ago.. i think he got served a piece of humble pie when he started training with these guys and probably got worked over time and time again by a 155 pounder
locogato11283
brock is not out for good. he will be back. the guy isnt dying, just sick.. kimbo has had a totally new attitude for a while. back when he was training with bas rutten, it was said that he was one of the hardest working, most respectful guys in the camp. his thug attitude got him to where he is today, but its obviously all an act. he might really be a thug, but hes a well educated thug. the guy is intelligent for sure. Toomey Banshee
First off Brock would not lose to Fedor. Now onto to Kimbo. Kimbo has a lot of catching up to do. Ground work is hard to pick up a 30+ years old. He has knock out power but his chin is very suspect judging the Petruzellii (sp)? fight. Kimbo seems like a cool dude but it looks like he was schooled how to act in front of the camera by Rampage. Being that Kimbo did come from shit and has pulled himself out I give him a lot of respect though. Just cant judge how good of a dude he is by short edited clips. dajogejr
Bob... If Brock and Fedor ever do fight (and they're not grandpas in wheelchairs) i say we have a friendly, gentleman's bet? Sound good?
Toomey Banshee
Bob... If Brock and Fedor ever do fight (and they're not grandpas in wheelchairs) i say we have a friendly, gentleman's bet? Sound good? Sounds good to me Dave. That fight would/will be the biggest to date in the UFC. Hopefully it lives up to its billing.
dajogejr
I agree. Fedor/Couture would have been the biggest event, but after Lesnar beat the old man, he's earned the chance to fight Fedor. I just don't ever see it happening with EF's management team. Dana was willing to give just about anything...but they wanted even more than that. I got a feeling if Fedor takes one or two losses, he'll be at the UFC... locogato11283
if brock and fedor ever fight, im taking fedor hands down. brock just isnt on fedors level standing or on the ground.
dajogejr
The only thing I see in Brock's favor is he's 280 or so in the ring at fight time. If he lays on top of Fedor, he might have a hard time getting him off of him...being smothered. That being said, stand up...on the feet...Fedor would hit him 10 times before Brock knew the fight was going on.

Toomey Banshee
Fedor is the man, no doubt. I cant help but think though, Brock is a wrestler. His stand up has improved at an excelerated rate. He is a VERY quick learner and the guy is just friggin huge. I watched a replay of the fight of Brock and Randy and Brocks head looked about as big as Randys entire upper body for fuk sakes. Fedors last fight he got rocked a few times and I cant help but think that if Lesnar tagged Fedor more than once it would be a very bad thing for the Ruskie. Lesnar on the ground, if he learns a few decent submissions and if continues to improve on his feet will be a handful to beat.
evro
i would be puttin my cash on fedor as well at this point in time. i certainly agree that lesnar is a gifted athlete and truly rare physical specimen but fedor is gifted in his own right as well. as someone else stated, he's almost alwayse the smaller guy. christ if he hired a diet specialist and laid off the russian cuisine he could fight at 205. people have a hard time granting him respect because he doesn't look the part of the stereotypical "fighter". He's pudgy and babyfaced and the most relaxed looking fighter in the biz. the guy is absolutely emotionless in the ring. his facial expression hardly changes. fedor's no idiot. there will certainly be method behind his madness.... as an MMA fan, i want to see that fight........but i do hope they dont wait too long. like lewis vs. tyson. that fight would have been a lot different if it would have gone down 10 or so years earlier. Toomey Banshee
Fedor being a bit pudgy makes this whole scenerio very much scarier. He could absolutley make 205. Hes pretty much training and eating. Not watching his diet much. I wrestled in HS and College and can tell you a normal person has to diet, train and sleep. If you are such a physical specimen that you can cut out diet and eat as you wish, by that I mean healthy choices, not burgers, pizza etc., then train at full steam then you are at a huge advantage. Fedor is 1 in a millon. Smaller HW but tough as hell. He will go to the way side. Once his reflexes go so will he invincibiliy. Just look at Roy Jones. Awesome physical specimen, once he slowed a bit, we all saw what happened.
donkeypuncher
unfortunately i would have to say that brock would win the fedor/lesnar fight if it were to ever happen. i think it would be a really boring fight to be honest. my guess would be that fedor rocks brock in the first round and brock desides he wants none of fedor's stand up so he takes him down and lays on him the entire fight while working a little ground and pound. i definately wouldnt pay to see that fight. as for kimbo, i too was very impressed with how improved his ground game was and was suprised that he was the one doin the taking down in this fight. i would have thought that when houston was saying he was gonna make kimbo be an mma fighter and not just a brawler it meant he was gonna be taking kimbo down. im glad he got the win though, i think if he wouldnt have one this fight his chances of fighting again, even with the audience he brings, would have been slim.
