figure8racer7463
OK i got the shee all cleaned up the pther day and when i started it fuel was just dumping out of my overflow tube. It does it everytime i turn the fuel on whether it is running or not. Is my carb just dirty and need cleaned or are there other causes for this. Before it started doing it the jetting was good and i hadn't had any problems with it. It will still start and seems to run fine but obviously something isnt right. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Thanks It is either the seal between the needle and the seat on the carb. Could be trash or grit or something not allowing them to seal together properly or the rubber part of the needle is worn or damaged. Or it could be the float not allowing the needle to travel far enough to seal against the seat. SP

shanYE west
Either way.. The carbs need to be pulled apart and thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Also.. Check your float lvl.
bansheesandrider
It could also be the O-ring that seals the seat to the carb body, you will still need to pull the carb apart. The seat assembly should be a snug fit in the carb, if you remove the retainer and turn it over and it falls out, the Q-ring is bad, once it is out inspect the O-ring for tears and wear and see if it is hard. Make sure the needle and seat are OK, clean every thing out and put it back together. Since it started doing this all at once, it is probably dirt in the needle and seat.
