SubarusAreMyThing
you choose banshee cause it smokes? no i choose banshee because its a 2 stroke. and i prefer a 2 stroke over the 4's. and 2 strokes smoke... its just an old saying i heard a while back and liked it. dirtydownunder
your on a banshee forum and you ask what quad you should buy ?. if i wanted to buy a bike and not touch it, id get a yfz450. if i wanted a killer bike that i was going to play with and fukn enjoy, id buy a banshee. my banshee only smokes when its dead cold, after that no smoke at all Edited November 26, 2009 by dirtydownunder

bansheesandrider
For riding in the sand, the ONLY bike you should even consider is a Banshee. When it comes on the pipe and starts spraying sand, there is no better feeling in the world. Besides that, you came to a Banshee site, what did you expect to get for an answer? shanYE west
I like my YFZ450 for for just about every kind of riding over my banshee.. The power is better.. the handling is better, traction is better, its got electric start. Its just a better built bike. If someone told me I could only have one quad.. I'd pick my 450 over my banshee...
sandman
If it's for sand then the obvious choice has to be the shee. It has the best power characteristics of any bike ever made when it comes to sand. Now if you were thinking of riding it in trails or track then I would have a diff. answer, but the shee is made for the sand, end of story. Well There's a significant difference in the YFZ 450 and the YFZ450R The YFZ 450 is carbed after your long rides your thumb gets somewhat tired and sore. As for me i got used to it with my shee The YFZ 450 R is fuel injected which mean less maintenance on climate changes no tuning of carbs as well as less strain on thumb throttle, i know my neighbor has one. As well as the 450r is about 3 inches lower and longer travel suspension. Dude if you want a bike that will shine in the dunes. Get a banshee!! 4strokes are only good for trails and damn thats it i guess. LOL. The good thing about banshees is that you can set them up for whatever riding style you have. They are very versatile bikes. Also the parts for them are a whole lot cheaper and easier to mod! Tuning is easy if you know what your doing. Hope this helps!! HiRoller
I've ridden Raptor 700's in the dunes, still like my Banshee way better.
GNR101
i find the banshee is more fun... and like half the price... so u can spend the other half on mods but the yfz450 is a better ride stock
