Faster, the Banshee will never be sold new in the US again. Eventually a quad will be made that will beat the banshee in the drags.

ok, well the word better is subjective, the word faster is more specific

what does it matter if they stopped selling new banshees in the usa? or in the whole world? they havnt chnaged em in forever.. that didnt stop all the aftermarket companies from creating better and better mods each year for them.. it doesnt matter that they are not "sold" here anymore, the aftermarket continues to thrive, and will do so for a long time.. you think everyone is just gona give up on banshees and change the whole direction of their companies from banshees to 4 strokes because the government stopped them from being sold? banghead

Look at the aftermarket. How many ads do you see for Banshee parts in the mags? They are still there but not like it used to be for sure. It does matter that they don't make them anymore people will and are now putting a lot more time into the newer machines. Who on the hq would have said a banshee does not rule the dunes 5yrs ago? I will stand by the shee in the dunes still but apparently I am a moron for doing so. It will happen at the drags as well, it's just a matter of when. We won't get into the government thing.

for questions like this your almost always better off making this a poll not a comment response..... im not going to read 7 pages of junk to post my opinion.

your going to have millions of banshee addicts giving thier .02 and for every pro you get a 2 cons will follow.

why would you sell your basnhee and then question the boards about buying new one? i say get a trx250r. but if i recall that wasnt on the list.

You have to market towards the majority... Keep in mind that the banshee was the only performance sport quad produced since 92ish.. until honda released the 400ex.. That was what? 99'? Raptor was released in 01' LTZ400 shortly after. YFZ450 in 04. The market got flooded with new performance quads in a span of 5yrs.. Ofcourse you'll see a decline in advertising for the banshee..

I can assure you the banshee aftermarket is bigger then ever.. You know the aftermarket is strong when you can build a complete banshee engine from aftermarket parts.. You can thank the drag industry for that...

Production of OEM parts usually last 10-20 yrs after production stops. Depending on the how popular the model was.. being that the bashee was made for over nearly 20yrs without changes.... They'll still make parts for it for ALONG time.

I'm not worried about it going anywhere anytime soon.

ive rode alot of quads, bikes, dirtbikes etc etc. the newer 4 strokes are fun and ride real nice. but on the other hand nothing gets my hurt pumping like riding my banshee and the feel of the twins. but its all about who you are and what your looking for. me id rather have my banshee and thats it. i had 2 of them. like said the banshe has been around for 20 years(20+ years in other countries)and they only changed a couple things. goes to show you tey did something right for that long.

I agree. The only thing is majority rules and eventually it will happen. I agree parts will be available for a long time. How long the Banshee remains king of the drags who knows?

LOCO knows

"the one thing that the banshee is GREAT at and the one thing it will always be KING at is going very fast in a straight line"
