jlevasseur
Are out of frame pipes really worth it when it comes to a drag pipe, compared to inframe CPI's and Sheares? Anyone got and comparisions of the two, maybe on a dyno? How about pictures?? Anyone have any pics of the new OOF shears with silencers?? thanks guys

Ieat4strokes
It's also easier to get a straight anwser by just asking than to sift through 50 threads that lead to off subject thread jacking bs or threads that have a ton of remedies from our members but no responce from OP on what fixed it

dajogejr
Out of frame pipes keep heat away from the motor and allow you to work on the motor easier. You'll get a few HP and ft. lbs of torque generally from OOF pipes as well, nothing that would set the world on fire. Here's their Big Bore, Small Flange out of frame pipes on a cut stock chassis, silenced, out the ignition side. I had pipes one out each side. I like two out one because if you get off the other side of the bike you don't have to worry about stepping over your pipes or getting the customary black hole on your jeans from running into your silencer... dragbanshee98
i would say that oof pipes are almost always better.. but porting, along with other things can effect how the pipe thing works.. i personally run inframe CPI pipes with stingers and love the way they perform on my bike
