Toomey Banshee
Doing my youngest sons '99 top end and some updates. Stock stroke with T-5's, cool head with 20's and VF2's. Parts list to date-pistons (weiscos), bore cylinders, new V-force 2 reed pedals, magnetic drain plug, advanced timing plate, lightend flywheel, case saver, e-z pull clutch and perch (already have a FAST clutch setup), e-brake block off, new O-ring kit for cool head, moded shift star, packing for the T-5's. Thats what I have for now. Its not gonna get ported, has stock carbs with pods and I'm not eliminating the TORS. Anything I'm missing? bansheesandrider
Do away with the TORS System, you can getrid of it and keep the thumb throttle if you want. If you take the TORS off it is much easier to work on the carbs when you need to, and you won't have to worry about it causing problems down the road. AKheathen
perhaps you should list all the mods.......of, coarse you are gonna want the reed and base gaskets......not sure why you would need the lightened flywheel. perhaps you may want to up the stator watts, update the impellar/gear. pankake bearing, in case he accidentally holds the clutch in too much....pto bearing. i would strongly suggest the tors removal, as it not only makes jetting 100x easier, but relieves alot of strain on the rubber intakes, which might need replacing. if you are getting your bore/hone locally, make sure it's bored to the pistons, and that there is still port chamfers.........oh, and don't forget the boost bottle

Have the reed gaskets, forgot about the base gaskets. Good thought with the impellar, def. gonna add that. Gotta get a flywheel puller as well. As far as the TORS goes its been disconnected for years I actually like the thumb screws to help sync the carbs. Looking into porting my boost bottle unless someone has one available here thats been ported.
