Glamis321 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 If you are buying the Ultra Flow, you will need the entire kit because it will not fit under the stock type plate. If you go with the stock replacement billet impeller, it will fit under the stock plate or a plate from ProDesign or Modquad or some of the others. the $105 one comes with that bigger plate with the drain hole, the more expensive one has that plus the outer cover with a machined finish that isnt needed i dont believe.. The Ultra Flow impeller is wider than the stock replacement impeller and HAS to use the cover that comes with it to have enough clearance to operate. That is why it is sold as a kit. Quote
dirtydownunder Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 $55 for the standard size chariot billet impeller on its own. Quote

RagunCajun Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Has anyone tested this out in terms of temperature? Meaning, your bike needs to have a coolant temp gauge. Id like before and after results. Quote
SandShots Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 my stock impellar had some play in it too, it was rubbing on the cover making a gouge in it. i dont know if the chariot kit actually keeps the the temps lower but one thing i know is that i like to run good stuff on my bike. so if i need to replace parts might as well go with the good ssshit.
