NastyQuickie Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 has anyone tried the ultra flow impeller from Chariot Performance? its bigger than their regular billet impeller feedback anyone? Quote
dajogejr Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I have the Chariot Head and throttle. I've got a few buddies that run his intakes and his bearing support. His products are top notch. His service is phenomenal. I don't know alot about metal or coatings, but I'm going to assume TiN means Ti Nitrade coating. That's the same stuff the factory teams use for the forks and shock shafts for supercross bikes. I know Brandon @ Mull Engineering makes impellars as well as Chariot. I've used neither, but if I needed one I'd be hitting them up.... Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 i would not hesitate to buy anything from chariot performance. jerry makes top notch products. Quote
NastyQuickie Posted November 17, 2009 Author Report Posted November 17, 2009 i have no doubt that he sells quality products and has excellent CS. i just want to know how that impeller works compared to a regular billet impeller because i have the stock plastic one right now and my bike now overheats after the jugs got ported so i feel if i replace it with a stock spec billet replacement it may not be enough. MikeNick Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 I've gotten a head and timing plate from Chariot..Top notch products... Quote
NastyQuickie Posted November 17, 2009 Author Report Posted November 17, 2009 yeah I also have the Chariot timing plate nice piece looks too good to be hidden behind the flywheel. I guess no one here has anything to say about the ultra high flow impeller. Quote
NastyQuickie Posted November 17, 2009 Author Report Posted November 17, 2009 F it, I ordered the Chariot Ultra flow Impeller I want to review this product for my setup. It looks nice, design makes sense bigger impeller flows more and it comes with a easy drain billet water impeller cover. I had over heating problems this past weekend when I was at Mother G (Glamis) it may be due to the new port job and the stock plastic impeller which had a small chip on flat circular part of the impeller when i installed it back again, shit for all i know it may be destroyed now. So i needed a billet impeller and after looking a various options Pro Design, Mull engineering, Chariot Performance regular billet impeller, Chariot Performance Ultra flow and Modquad billet impeller. I decided the Ultra flow would be the more reasonable choice becasue of the other stuff that comes with it besides the impeller it has a gasket, bolts and new cover at least i think it does? lol. I'll let you knows how it works when i'm out on Thanksgiving. Quote
Ruko Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 I have one... I posted a review about it a while ago. Quality wise it looks great. I like the new cover with the drain in it. I had to grind a little out of the inside of the outside cover to get it to fit over the inner cover but that was no big deal. Service was great too, very easy to deal with. If you have a stock impeller and want to switch to a billet this is a good choice. I was hoping to see some lower water temps though and unfortunately I didn't. I have it in a 485 Cheetah so it may work better in a stock motor. I went from the stock plastic one to a Pro-Design billet and saw no temp difference. Then switched to Chariots and again saw no temp difference. The biggest thing is you can rest easy knowing the billet one wont break apart on you out in the middle on the dunes. Quote
Chariot Performance Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 Thanks for the reviews guys. Yes, we have had mixed reviews from buyers. Some have had lower temps everywhere and some not at the guage but before the coolant makes it to the exhaust area. Some haven't reported any difference from the last setup they had. Thankfully at the end of the day no one has negative results (hotter engines) after our impeller is installed. There are quite a few out there now so hopefully more of them will post here. I know that I direct many many customers to this site to get setup advice I am not qualified to give. Thanks again to the hq crew and our customers. Jerry Quote

Is that for a single impellar? Can you check for me please? Don't need an entire kit or anything else. Thanks. Quote
Glamis321 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 No thats a whole kit, they sell one thats just the impeller and the cover with the drain for 105. Quote

Don't need an entire kit or anything else. Thanks. If you are buying the Ultra Flow, you will need the entire kit because it will not fit under the stock type plate. If you go with the stock replacement billet impeller, it will fit under the stock plate or a plate from ProDesign or Modquad or some of the others. Quote
