blowit Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Only so many hours in a day... I have thought about it more than once, believe me. Maybe something for the future... B Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 My buddy coats his in dielectric grease. Is this a good idea? Quote
blowit Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Thermal conduction is pretty important so I would make sure that grease is thermally conductive. Other than that, the epoxy usually serves as a way to protect the wires from handling since a nick in the wire can cause certain failure. B Quote
ISSUES Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 It wounln't take much to seal up the stock stator cover to put oil in it. Be thinking of it do it ,might go ahead and do it now. Quote
