slacker1bob
I have a 421 cub with two 35mm pwk. Is the stock petcock, and float bowls enough to supply fuel under full load, or should I upgrade to larger bowls or a pingel Petcock, I have 168 jets in it now, and when I run Olds in Glamis, the plugs look lean, but duning at a casual pace, the plugs are rich. 168 jets seem big to me, so thats why Im wondering if its not getting enough full, and as far as I can tell, the floats are correct. bansheeseat$$
I would defanently get a pingle for it and as for the bowls,I run the stock bowls and have no issues with fuel supply but I do run the dual pingle

Yamahammer
I had the same issues and chased the jetting for a year before i got float bowl's and a pingle. Also if you are using a billet cap and one of those billet hose toppers get rid of it and run a straight hose. The billet top will restrict the air flow and cause a vacuum in the tank. slacker1bob
Thats funny, I do have a billet cap with the lil' topper thing. I'll try a regular setup. Dont have a pingle yet, but I modified my petcock so that RESERVE and ON flow at the same time, hopefully giving a little more fuel flow
dajogejr
One outlet just can't flow as much as two. I have a used pingle for a stock banshee gas tank. I got it in trade...never put it on. You want it? 60 bucks shipped, add 3% for paypal. PM me if you're interested. For Olds hill that's a long run on a 421 with stock fuel valve and stock bowls. I drill my vent hose out of the gas cap (and remove the check ball assembly as well)
