g_low0885
i have a set of t-5 and painted them several times. the problem was that paint did not hold up well i have tried header, engine, and gril paint with the same results. it would look good for a while but would not hold up for very long and if the pressure washer got close to it the paint would come off. so i found some high temp powdercoat on www.eastwood.com this has been on my pipes for over 2 years with no problems. J-Madd
I just had my RDZs ceramic coated satin black for $150. They look nice. 3 day turnaround. He also does powder coating with similar turn around. One of my duner chassis cost $250 to do.
FL_shee_rider
Why not sanding them and polishing them? Thats what i did with mine. They were rusted to shit, and after about 2 nights of sanding and polishing they turned into mirrors.

yamaha driver
i used a copper pad so it didnt scratch as much. and also used windex when i was scrubbing since it seemed to help to get the rust of better.
