bugnut Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 If you ride for a while those heavy helmets will really get to your neck. I would look into getting a arai vx pro3. Yes they are a little spendy but how much is your head really worth is how I see it. I am on my second arai helmet in 4 years and all I can say is they are very light after a good day of riding and the fit is second to none. They do run in the 450 to 550 range but hey what doesn't cost a lot these days? Quote
amstall Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 both those KBC ones are pretty sweet. My vote is for the stealth though Quote

They do run in the 450 to 550 range but hey what doesn't cost a lot these days? thats just rediculous. i bought a fly kinetic helmet for like $100. i ride anywhere between 3 to 6 hours a day and i NEVER have problems with a sore neck. the weight difference between helmets is minimal, the average every day joe could hardly tell their was a difference if they tried a $550 helmet on and a $50 helmet on. when i buy a helmet i look more for fit and air vents for circulation then i do how much it weighs. Ryda, just go with whatever one is more comfortable. they all look sick, i think the two kbc ones would match your ride better. my .02. Quote
