banshenstein
I have a set of LSR's front a-arms.... the yamaha ball joints i ordered are just so close to being the right size i mean they are just a hair to large. you can imagine the threads on the the ball joints. cut the threads in half and that is how to big the ball joints to fit through the a-arms. would i be able to bore the hole out just the little bit that i need too to make that work or will that weaken the a-arms? Michael Jackson
ive heard of reaming spindles for larger balljoints to fit, but never reaming out a pair of aftermarket a-arms to fit a wrong size balljoint end in it.. that doesnt sound right.. why not just find the right balljoints to fit the lsr arms? are the balljoint holes on lsr arms threaded? Boosted GMC
My LSR A-arms use 16mm by 1.5 thread pitch ball joints. I got all four of them from american star for $98.00 they are a direct fit. Someone on here sells them for about $20 each if you do a search you can probably find his info.
