walmart lights

so i just picked up a set of the walmart lights and a couple of 35w bulbs to replace the 50w ones that come with them and i cant figure out how to get to the bulbs themselves. i have them taken apart but the bulbs are like sealed in. i feel like an idiot.lol. seems like it should be a simple thing to do. :shrugani:

This is what you need right here. Yes there sealed and there like 5 bux a pop if not less. Twist pull and there out.

Any place that carry's MR16 lights have them..like lowes, homo depot and so on ....

 

Just take one with you and match it up if your not sure.

 

Replace BOTH with 2 spots and not the spot/flood, much better

hey chris, exattly wich walmart light do these go in. i was runnin some of those rectangle blue fog lamps but they were not quite what i was lookin for.

hey chris, exattly wich walmart light do these go in. i was runnin some of those rectangle blue fog lamps but they were not quite what i was lookin for.

alright fellas, i got the lights all mounted up now i just need a little help eith the wiring. did you guys use any of the wiring that came with the lights or did you rig up something else? and did you guys utilize the stock light plugs or do a little splicing? pictures would be nice. :D

all i did was cut the plugs off the stocks and wire the wallyworld ones on .its got 2 wires coming out of your new lights . one goes on the black off your stock plug . one goes on eather the yellow or green. ones highbeam and ones low .i used the highbeam. tape the one u dont use off .tape them up plug them in and u got lights yahoo good luck its simple

i cut the stock plu off and cut down the pigtails that came with the lights, so i can still unplug via the bullet connectors. i also grabbed up the big round blue walmart lights which take h3 bulbs, and run 2 sets, so it kinda looks the same as stock. i mostly use the bullet lights, and have one of the other ones on high beam.

so i got a little impatient waiting for a response 'cause i couldnt wait to finally get these set up soooo......i went ahead and rigged them up on my own. and by the sounds of it, i wired mine up the same way you did yours. :clap:

So what lights are these that you get from Wally world! I would like to get a set! Are they like the stock lights but better or are you just useing the Mr16 bulb! Please let me know!

i wired mine on the high beam circuit. that way when i put my switch on low beam i have tail and no headlights. i have been having trouble with my bulbs blowing. i put in the 35 watt bulbs when i got them and they both blew after maybe 10 hours. then i put the 50 watt bulbs back in and now one of those blew. anyone else have this issue?
