donkeypuncher
so i just picked up a set of the walmart lights and a couple of 35w bulbs to replace the 50w ones that come with them and i cant figure out how to get to the bulbs themselves. i have them taken apart but the bulbs are like sealed in. i feel like an idiot.lol. seems like it should be a simple thing to do. SAVAGE420
This is what you need right here. Yes there sealed and there like 5 bux a pop if not less. Twist pull and there out. http://www.traderscity.com/board/userpix22/18152-halogen-bulb-mr16-12-volts-35-watts-gu5-3-base-1.jpg Any place that carry's MR16 lights have them..like lowes, homo depot and so on .... Just take one with you and match it up if your not sure. AKheathen
i just swapped out 1 of the lights for a 20 watt, and ran the other 50 that came with them. 1 spot, 1 flood. worked great....

AKheathen
i cut the stock plu off and cut down the pigtails that came with the lights, so i can still unplug via the bullet connectors. i also grabbed up the big round blue walmart lights which take h3 bulbs, and run 2 sets, so it kinda looks the same as stock. i mostly use the bullet lights, and have one of the other ones on high beam. T_Shee
i wired mine on the high beam circuit. that way when i put my switch on low beam i have tail and no headlights. i have been having trouble with my bulbs blowing. i put in the 35 watt bulbs when i got them and they both blew after maybe 10 hours. then i put the 50 watt bulbs back in and now one of those blew. anyone else have this issue?
