phxrider
My limited experience has my favorite sand tire as a Sand Tires Unlimited Razorback. REAL LIGHT and I can't imagine there's a tire that can out steer it. The tire only weighs 6 lbs!! Air 'em down to 2 1/2 psi and have a great time!! http://www.sandtiresunlimited.com/rb.html YEP! I love mine. Mohawks look nice, but I'm not sure if they are suppose to steer better then knobbies, just float over the sand better. ltd.yfz
If you want the ultimate trail tire for turning I would recommend the sand star double rib. However, I don't really care for the look, I like the full buff look myself, that is why I went with the Cascade Cutters which is on Cascade Innovations website. There the next best thing and still have the full bead buff. I have the cascade cutters on both of my quads, and love them!!! Both of them are 22x8's tho. I think that makes the most difference. I used to have 21x7 mohawks and the front got pushed alot. I had 22x8 sandstar's on my yfz, as said before, best front tire( especially for the price)!!! But i care bout the looks too much, and the cutters weren't that much of a difference.
Fullthrottle02
Thanks for everyone's input. I think after the first I'm going to break them down and see if there is anyone out there that wants to trade for sand stars.
