White97Banshee
There's this hose coming out of the filler cap. That's called the vent line. Pull it through the hole on the handlebar clamp. NOW you're gonna wanna make sure you turn the petcock off (that's the little dial that says on/off/res). And now you're ready to pull the hose off the petcock that is connected to the carburetor. There is usually a little clamp on the hose and you're gonna wanna take that off by any means you see fit. Now keep in mind you might have to pull hard to get the hose off the petcock. Next you're ready to unbolt it from the frame. There are 4 bolts. One in each corner of the tank. Pull those out and remove the tank from the frame. Open the filler cap and pour the contents into an empty jug and dispose of it properly or dump it into your car (it won't mind). Reverse each step for the reinstallation of your freshly emptied gas tank. Good luck! ~Kyle
racer
Pull the hose off the 'tee', aim it towards not you. Open petcock to 'res'. PS, a shot of air in the vent line will decrease your drain time.

Snopczynski
Ummmmmmm, Put a hose on the petcock, and turn it to reserve. When it gets low, rock the bike.
