Sandfrk33 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Just wondering if any of you guys know if F-350 leaf springs and shocks will bolt up on my F-250. I have an 01 and my rear suspension is shot. Thought maybe I could bump up my towing capacity without using airbags. Let me know what you think. Thanks Quote
278 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I dont see why it wont work Im pretty sure its the same chassis just different suspension set up Quote
03bansheeman126 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 measure and see if they are the same length. if they are the same bolt them up. Quote
coronakidd Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 they are the same just different ride hights if you have a gas motor and put desiel springs on it you will get a little lift out of it and have to put a drop pitman arm on it let me know if you have any questions Quote
03bansheeman126 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 If it is just the rear springs and shocks no drop down pitman arm will be necessary Quote
bansheesandrider Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 From what I was told, spring rates are the only difference between a 250 and a 350 in that era of truck. Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 From what I have researched the 250 and the 350 use the same spring pack. So there would be no difference in size, spring rate, or tow capacity. Quote
