RagunCajun
so 4+ is safe to run on 92 and give me some low and mid range power ..and not take to much top power off ....will this take my top mph down if i put this on? Mph has to do with rpm and gearing for the most part. If you don't have as much power as before in the higher rpm range you will stop top out the same but might take a little longer to get there. You can always change sprockets to get more mph but then you would take Away bottom end power. Only way to keep bottom and and increase mph is adding more power. That gets expensive. Advancing timing also increases throttle response. Correct me if I'm wrong. Edited September 29, 2010 by RagunCajun
J-Madd
I just cut 4 deg's in my stock one. Saved me some coin. I was gonna ask if any of you lazy asses ever mod the stock one anymore You can even leave the stator and plate hanging from the motor and use a dremel. 10 minutes max. If you''ve never pulled the flywheel before, know that you have to buy a specific puller - don't run out to O'Reilly's and grab a jaw type puller. skin ind. banshee
As a general rule, if a fastener requires loctite..... always use blue. The only time you use red is when you want something to be permanent or you don't mind using heat and/or a breaker bar to get it apart. thanks just makein sure
