Reverse cooling simply means the cold water goes to the head first. Its been used in the automotive world for a while now. No idea if it is being used in the atv world. Yea the main purpose of a cool head is to change the compression ratio, and the ease of machining domes on a lathe vs machining / rechambering a stock head. Cool Heads dont really do much for cooling. Most of the coolant is just circulated and makes its way across the head. Here is a little more info, There is another hose routing on lf side into the rear or the cylinder. He must make another cooling port.
