captainhowdie
Im having trouble getting this mid throttle bog out. My mods are listed in my sig. I am running 45 pilots 162 mains needle on bottom clip. If i choke it, the bog will go away so that tells me im lean in the middle but cant richen it up any more. It also did this with a set of 33's i had on it. Could something else cause a mid throttle bog like maybe pick up gap or something electrical? I did a leakdown test just to make sure and that was good, so no air leaks. just kinda stumped. oh yea and Im at sea level. Thanks for any suggestions! bansheeseat$$
What needles are you running? If they are the stock needles that come with the 35's you may need to go to a DEG or even a EEJ needle.
okbeast
Yeah what needle are you running? I'm running a CEL needle and have it on the 2nd or 3rd clip and it's crisp as can be. Of course there's other variables but just saying. I know a bunch of people run the CEL's too so getting jetting help is easy.
captainhowdie
I am running stock needles that came with the carbs. But the guy that had these cylinders before me said he ran stock needles with them and it ran fine.

dajogejr
The first thing I'd do is contact Jim @ Passion. His motors like fuel differently...and he could guide you in the right direction. Otherwise, you'll get 10 different answers from folks on here. Personally....I've had good luck with CEL and DEK needles in the 33 to 39PWK carbs on gas motors. Again...I've never had a Passion port job...so talk to him first.
