qcklys
Okay i have to change my a-arms in front and my complete tie rod assembly so i was wondering if i should go wider? I do some trail riding, sandpit and mx track riding, so what would be the best for me? stay stock or go wider? and if i do , do i need to replace the shock?! i dont have much money so i was thinking about 500$ max for the front end, so what you guys think i should go with?! thanks! Drewski
i do a lot of trail riding as well but i still went wider, you just have to pay more attention to the trail. so i would go with a +2 a arm and then you will need to get new shock re-valved for the new a arms. you can get wickeds a arms for under $400 and look for some shock on ebay or you can go the route I went and do a yfz 450 a arm conversion it only cost me $150 after i sold my old parts but thats with out the yfz 450 spindles and brake MUCH CHEAPER
XxMeltIcexX
If I'm not mistaken you will want to include spindles with a yfz swap, to retain ground clearance and to keep the ball joints in good shape. 500 bucks will not get you much with a front end, if you want a good set of arms hit up Tim and Stellar Machine and Performance, he's a site sponsor.
