Stack
Well I got her all back together and actaully took her for a ride! It was GREAT!!!! Ran her through the gears a few times then all of a sudden the shifter was starting to bind and not come in or out of the higher gears... I FINALLY got into neutral and onto the trailer... Any ideas what caused this? The shee went from shifting fine to binding up??? WTF Again!?!?!?
Titan up
Need to pull the clutch cover off and look at the end of the shift shaft and make sure the 2 claws are still grabbing the pins on the shift star. They could have slipped off, or the shift shaft is way out of adjustment. Do you have a Clymers?
spurdy
THe shift shaft could also be worn out and in need of replacement. The rivet that holds the claw on wears out and the ends of the claw can slip over the pins of the shift star. Or buy the new shift star from "blowit" (i think) that has longer pins on the start the help prevent this. SP
