Pasi S.
I want you MX guys to help me. Just give me your opinion. My riding is 50% in MX tracks and 50% open fields and fun riding. I use 20" holeshots in summer time and 22" Razr2 with spikes in winter time (rear) and I have stock 14/41 gearing. My mods will be T5´s and +4 timing and CarbonTech Hi-reeds. I know they are mid/top mods but I still want to be OK in MX tracks. I was thinking 13 in front and 43 rear with those 20" and 13/46 with those 22" If you know something better just let me know! -Thanks! locogato11283
why are you going down with your gearing after your mods?

shogs
Yea but he's gearing it for fast acceleration and a lower top speed, but making mods that increase the top end power (top speed). And I thought all riding was fun? But seriously I ride trails and without a set of low-mid pipes, +4 timing, and maybe even a port job your not going to like a banshee for that. I know mx is a little different but you wanna be in the midrange when your power is the best and your pulling through corners. Not trying to talk you out of it, but if your actually going to be racing mx then you might wanna try some different mods. And what about suspension? . Pasi S.
OK! I have now 13/42 gearing and I haven´t tested it yet. I´m not going to race MX or anything, just having fun with my Banshee. If that gearing is too short for my 22" rears... I´ll go a little longer.
