What kind of fuel can i run

Recommended Posts

i was getting at,that we need all, including airbox setup, temp, and dome size

dome size would be irrelevant considering we already know he's running 170psi, at that alt. If I had to guess I would say 19's

airbox setup is indeed a major factor. If you don't already have them, get some pods and rip that airbox out.

That babys got to breathe

20cc Domes, stock air box with lid (no snorkle) and k&n filter.

stick with the 50/50 mix of 93/100 for the best safe power. as for jetting, you sound pretty close, if not dead on. i'm assuming temps around 70, but it should be starting to cool off soon, so go up in mains 1 size at a time, untill it starts to sputter @ wot (warmmed up) and then go down 1 size. the pilots might be big, but you decide that by where the airscrews want to run best. 2.5+ turns from seated, and you go down. just a suggestion, but some dual stage reeds will help both boost and smooth out your mid-low range.

20cc domes at 170psi??

that's why i asked.... think about it- under 1000ft asl, 21cc's should crank 150-160 on a good top end, 22-s should be around 145, and 19's should be around 175-185. factor in top-end condition, instrument deviation, proting properties, and method, and you could be even more off on the reading than what the cr actually is. i've seen weirder things, and regretted being more thurough and assuming, not asking.
