Ieat4strokes Posted August 21, 2009 Report Share Posted August 21, 2009 Sent motor to jeff and he said the center bearing on crank was shot, had about .005 play in it. He actually told me he's never seen this before. but im going back with a new bore because he said pistons had about 5.5 thousandths play which he like to see around 3. New pistons, new crank, all the shift mods in the book and getting cases ported and a few other tricks and was told to take lockup off that it would help me shift even better. He said if i go to alky then throw the lockup back on. Im running 35 PWK gassers. BIG PROPS to Kubitza123 "Mark", i got the crank from him and told him about the problem, within minutes he sent me 300 to my paypal, which is more than i payed him for the crank!!!!! A real stand up guy and i applaude that kind of buisness ethics.... But just to follow up to the several people that posted they had the same issue, outside bearings were fine it was the one in the center.
