SAVAGE420
http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=330 Good deal at $85 for all that. Give jeff a call, leave a message or PM him here on his screen name FASTOYS . If your lid is on the airbox and you go to pods YES, you will have to richen up your jetting some. Couple sizes bigger on the mains, no big deal at all.

spurdy
Not to take any business away from Jeff but, I buy mine direct from K&N. The main reason for this is I haven't found anyone that stocks the filter I use. From the K&N website you can see the dimensions of all the filters they have. Angled flanges, tapered filters for clearing certain pipes, different length filters, and different flange openings. I can pay them direct with a CC and shipped to my door. Just a convenience thing. You can also run an oval K&N filter with the stock airbox, lid on or lid off, if you have the aluminum adapter that fastens inside the airbox. This would be a good ides if you trough a lot of low creeks or big mud puddles. SP
zephyrdog
I am thinking about doing the same thing. I have a K&N oval filter right now with the stock airbox with the lid drilled out. Would I have to change jetting as well? Also, how do the pods hold up to the occasional puddle or rain. I try to stay out of the mud but it does happen sometimes.
