bennieben1
on a 4 mil cub. 68 mil cylinders, 38 mil lectrons running alcohol, and everything in the motor fresh which companies drag porting is the best? i called both companies. herr jugs said that they can get hi 90's. rdz said they can get 114 but with keihins. do you guys believe these numbers? what kind of horses did you guys get out of the same size. please help, this is for a friend Edited August 19, 2009 by bennieben1
Snopczynski
I would call Packard or K&T for a drag port. If you dont want to use one of them use RDZ. Packard is the Lectron king, dont let someone tell you there is a better carb out there than the lectrons.
tundish2800
i think rdz holds the record for a 350cc banshee. i have been on a herr jugs bike and they haul ass. Dont forget about dan hall at a&s racing. I have a flotek bike and it moves. Picking a port job and builder is up to the person riding the bike. blanco25
since your going that route i have some shearers all be getting rid of this week. the toomy's you'll have to get rid of. ill give you a good deal and you wont have to worry about shipping because im on vegas also. they'll come with billet hangers and billet clamps. i only have 3 rides on these pipes also. let me know also the guy at pure evil said my bike on anyones dyno would for sure hit over a 100. we could even got out for a day and i could let you take it for a spin. bennieben1
ive seen the work pure evil does. they are nice people and their prices are right too. this question was for a friend of mine. i will do a build later but not as wild as alcohol. thanks for the reply and thanks for the offer of helping out. i guess its up to my buddy now to decide which route to take. i love this site
blanco25
after running alky i will never go back. and either will your buddy. I would recommend kevin though, i hear rob from rdz can be a douche bag. unless your sepnding a retarded amount of money with K&T you'll get a cookie cutter job, the mass produced shit they send out to other shops. because many shops really dont do their own porting, they outsource it to places like K&T. I out ran a K&T drag port 421 with mine and it was the same exact setup, except he had out of frame pipes and more paddles and i would beat him. tell him to just give kevin a call. There are many other good builders out there other than those mentioned. KT does good work, We also have proven bikes out there. Michigan dynos seem to read a bit high IMO but Rdz does have some fast bikes. We have had stock cyl 350cc run 3.9s w/average wieght riders, 4mm Cubs running low 4s with 300lb riders, and cubs around 110 hp with only Inframes (out of frames will make much more). Kevin does good work and is close to you. I will put ours up against any of the above mentioned.
