bbcmudtruck Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 You could bump your timing with a timing plate and raise your compression with a cool head. You will most likely end up doing both of those anyway if you plan on building your bike up more! If you really want to get some power of it, do the timing and compression along with a port job and pipes to suit your riding needs! locogato11283 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 first off, id bump up that pilot to a 27.5. it might help with your bog off the line. most setups with aftermarket pipes require a 27.5 anyway, especially at sea level. sounds like some porting is in store for you, along with bigger carbs. Then if money remains go for some V force reeds, and then porting later when money allows. If your a heavier rider you may consider dropping to a 13t on the front sprocket.
