Sammy
Well T5 are an excellent dune pipe. Single carb will probably be better matched to the fmf's. What size carb, and what other mods do you have? Edited August 8, 2009 by Sammy

Sammy
Is this the same FMF's that you have? Alf how can you say that you love your T5's with you single carb when just a few posts down your complaining about not having any top-end power in 5-6 gear? bansheecaptain
yes the old fmfs are the pipes i am currently running
Sammy
I would say stick with the FMF's for now. Take the money your going to buy those T5's with and put it towards a good solid port job tailored to your riding style.

Snopczynski
All the toomey pipes are propaganda except for the cut T3 pipes. Those are the only toomey pipes worth a shit, and they only worked good with stroked motors. Those old school FMF pipes are awesome. Running a single carb with any of this stuff is not a real great idea, as all the pipes you have mentioned are mid-top pipes. The single carb kit, is more of a low end modification. Get a good dune port, and buy some 28-30mm twin carbs for it.
bansheecaptain
ya my plan was to ditch the single carb and get dual 33s with the stroke and port
