flyRTby Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Looking at picking up some new handle bars.. interested in some V bars.. or a good brand of normal bars. They look and seem more comfortable than your regular bar. Also noticed them quite often on the duners.. thanks for the input! FlyRTby Quote
flyRTby Posted August 6, 2009 Author Report Posted August 6, 2009 any input on the v bars?? or are they a waste? Quote
flyRTby Posted August 6, 2009 Author Report Posted August 6, 2009 they do look bad ass. and the non-chrome are pretty reasonable price-wise http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/ne...ore_dept_id=171 Quote
225GUY Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 $37 dollars for nice aluminum v bars!! That looks bad a$$. But do they affect steering or riding at all? Or are they just show bars? Quote
flyRTby Posted August 6, 2009 Author Report Posted August 6, 2009 not sure on the steering.. good question. from what i understand its a more comfortable ride, for the obvious reason that the bars are angled closer to you.. i wonder if the stock bar clamp will work as well.. may have to buy a different clamp.. that would drive the price up a tad.. thats cascade for ya. 225GUY Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 It says stock clamps can be used on the page. Quote
dco3100 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 doh! I have a set on my drag bike and id never go back to stock or even drag bars  Quote
225GUY Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 V bars with stock clamps and a hide a key...would look sweet. Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I bought a set of chrome ones, and had them powdercoated flat black. Had em 3 years and they have been rolled over on at least half a dozen times. Still going! Quote
